History

For twenty-seven years, Trinity Group has been an owner and operator of distinguished food and beverage operations. In 1980, Mr. Terry Delley developed his first Burger King franchise in Phoenix, Arizona, and for the next eleven years, he grew his business into a multi-unit, highly profitable restaurant operation. Along the way, Mr. Delley established relationships with local business leaders and public servants, while building his firm’s reputation as one of excellence and dependability.

In 1990, Trinity Group expanded its focus to non-traditional restaurant operations, specifically airport concessions. Through a highly competitive and lengthy process, Trinity Group won its first airport concession contract to operate a Burger King in Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. This proved to be a pivotal milestone for all parties involved, including the City of Phoenix, HMSHost, Burger King Corporation and Trinity Group. This location was the first Burger King franchise in a major American airport, and it laid the foundation for the concept’s rapid expansion in airports throughout the world.

The success of Trinity Group continued with concept expansion to Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. In 1994, Trinity Group opened a Pizza Hut franchise in the Airport’s newly developed International Concourse. Two years later, Trinity Group developed its flagship originally developed concept, the Sports Scene Bar & Grill. Located in Delta Airlines Concourse B, the restaurant operates under the motto of “food, fun and family,” and in delivering this experience, has consistently produced a top 5 revenue generating location for casual dining restaurants in the airport. In 2001, Trinity Group expanded its presence in the International Concourse with Hot Dog City.

In pursuit of an expanded trans-regional presence, Trinity Group opened its Moe’s Southwest Grill franchise in Memphis, Tennessee. The restaurant opened in February 2005, and has received high service accolades, including the 2007 Award for Highest Customer Service Ratings. In 2006, Trinity Group expanded its presence in Phoenix Sky Harbor with Famous Famiglia, a fast-casual Italian restaurant with locations in America’s leading non-traditional food and
beverage venues.

As envisioned by Terry Delley in 1980, Trinity Group has expanded its operations and presence to become a trans-regional, multi-unit operator of food beverage operations in America’s leading economic hubs. Driven by excellence and focused on delivering the best possible experience to its customers, Trinity Group stands poised to increase its presence in America’s most high profile leisure, service and transportation venues.
